2026 TRELL League Update

Dear Toms River East Little League Families,

As we prepare to begin the 2026 Spring Little League season, I would like to personally thank our Board of Directors, coaches, and team moms for all of their hard work in getting this season underway.

There is a tremendous amount of preparation that goes into each season—not only field maintenance, but also organizing jerseys, equipment, drafts, and registration/rostering. Their dedication behind the scenes does not go unnoticed.

While we always do our best to accommodate parents’ requests and needs, it becomes very challenging with nearly 600 children in our league. We truly appreciate your understanding.

I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to all of our sponsors. They are a vital part of our league, and we are incredibly grateful for their support. We encourage our community to support their businesses whenever possible as a way of giving back.

We are excited to announce that we will finally be renovating our indoor facility this summer. We understand that it has not been in the best condition for some time, but there were important financial obstacles that needed to be addressed first. This board, along with previous boards, worked hard to pay off approximately $19,000 in remaining loans from the building’s original construction. Now that the facility is debt-free, we can move forward with renovations to create a safer, larger, and more advanced indoor training space for our players. This project will be fully funded through sponsorships, donations, and fundraising—without taking on any new loans. Not all Little Leagues are fortunate enough to have an indoor facility, and we are grateful for this opportunity to improve ours.

Please keep an eye out for upcoming announcements regarding Opening Day Parade (April 18th), fundraising events, and other TRELL activities. We are proud to have already kicked off the season with one of the largest and most successful tee-ball signing days in our league’s history.

We are excited to see the kids get out on the field—playing, learning, and having fun. As the season begins, we ask everyone to remember: it’s just a game, and they’re just kids. Let’s support their growth and love for baseball in a positive way.
